There are a lot of myths when somebody thinks blogging. A new blogger may feel overwhelmed when they discover that people want to read their quality content. How many of you have felt the overwhelming need to blog every day in order to make others happy? Well, now there’s an easier way to get your thoughts into the World Wide Web.

I’m a natural speaker and therefore typing becomes cumbersome. I was trying to find a new way where he get my thoughts out on paper faster than my fingers can keep up. Of course, I knew there was a program called “Dragon Speak Easy” or something to that matter. A family member had used it because she had a learning disability where her brain could not accurately process her thoughts to type them out in a clear and concise fashion. Sure, it’s great for college students, but what about the average blogger?

This blogger loves it!

Since I started using Dragon Dictate 2.0 (affiliate link), I’ve noticed that a number of my blogs have increased readership dramatically. My readers actually want to hear my words in a way that is unfiltered through the computer. For me, my brain was always too fast for my fingertips. And it seems that my readers would rather hear what’s on my mind instead of what’s on my keyboard.

The pros

  • Quick blog posts
  • Easy-to-use
  • Recognizes human speech quite accurately
  • Trains the speaker to think before talking
  • Helps the speaker to become a better professional speaker
  • Works easily any computer system, even the Mac
  • Has speech patterns built in to learn multi-user speech

The cons

  • Takes time to learn New York accented speech patterns
  • Has some difficulty with slang
  • Punctuation can be difficult when learning the system
  • Speaker must pause to insert punctuation
  • Cost over $100

The Dragon Dictate system is not for everyone but if you enjoy speaking to you audience and speaking off the top of your head, then this is the perfect product for you. It takes some time to learn but once you’ve mastered the basics of blog posts can take you a mere 5 min. Of course, you will have to double check your work and allow for any grammar or punctuation issues but when you’re able to speak freely, without the hindrance of a computer keyboard, you start to find yourself more readily accepting the role of successful blogger.

For this native New Yorker, with the sometimes heavy accent, the Dragon Dictate system is definitely a win for me. I run at least four blogs in guest post that many others. My time is my money and I am putting my money where my mouth is with Dragon Dictate.
